I have been working in IT for 20 years. Started off with helpdesk for John Deere, moved to doing desk side support at a local University, then to a jack-of-all at a SMB real estate broker. In recent years, I have done a stint at a MSP as a project engineer, and finally to where I currently work as a SysAdmin, a school district in central Texas. I have seen organizations that have been ISO certified, to hey, its just me. I have seen the ways of a well used ticketing system and documentation, and it was glorious. Fun/Not-Fun fact; I was doing crypto in the early days when it cost more in power then the coin value it generated. Did I think to keep my wallet then? Nope. It was like SETI or Folding at home….man, I could have been rich. Sigh.
