Visier Launches People Cloud To Provide Holistic Employee Data to People Leaders

Visier recently launched its People Cloud to bring together disparate employee data to create a complete view of the employee, connect the data to business outcomes, and democratize it to people leaders to make appropriate decisions.

Visier, the people analytics and workplace planning solutions provider, has launched its people cloud and People Cloud Custom Services. The Visier People Cloud is built on the company’s people analytics platform. According to the company, the people cloud is expected to solve the ‘last mile’ problem that can hinder the potential of an HR team’s or organization’s people analytics strategies. The new service provides best practice guidance, custom extensions, implementation, and adoption services for the company’s new Cloud offering.

According to the company, the People Cloud brings together people’s data scattered both outside and inside an organization. The solution then connects the data with work and operational data providing executives and managers with deeper insights regarding their people.

The Primary Motivation Behind the New Cloud

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor StatisticsOpens a new window , last year saw millions of people quitting their jobs in droves, leading to the Great resignation. People are continuing to quit their jobs en masse this year as well. Companies and leaders are under pressure to relook at their social contracts with their staff members. Employees expect flexibility, diversity and equity, and fairness in their treatment and compensation. Simultaneously, they also want to know that they are making a difference to the company. Visier’s research found that progressive companies connect their employee data with operational data, democratize it to leaders, and share crucial people insights that support people managers in making appropriate decisions.

The People Cloud is the latest development by the company expected to shed light on an employee as a whole. In 2020, Visier partnered with iCIMS to align iCIMS’ Talent Cloud with the former’s data to help organizations make decisions about the quality of hire, diversity, retention, and much more. Last year, Visier also partnered with Ultimate Kronos GroupOpens a new window (UKG) to help speed up workforce management capabilities across the employee journey.

The Visier People Cloud is expected to connect the data about the people of an organization to business goals and outcomes, such as delivery schedules, revenues, and customer satisfaction. Based on this data, managers and people leaders can make decisions related to compensations, hiring, promotions, training, and retention.
