Shankar Iyer is SVP and GM of End User Computing at VMware Inc. Previously, Shankar ran the Desktop business as part of EUC and the SVP and GM of Desktop products. Prior to VMware, Shankar was the VP of Products and Engineering for Enterprise Mobility at Citrix Systems, where he was instrumental in building the XenMobile business and products from the ground up. Before Citrix, Shankar was at WebEx as VP of Products and Engineering. He was responsible for WebEx’s next generation platform and ecosystem and continued that role as part of the Cloud Application Services group at Cisco Systems.
